Women's Cross Country Concludes Strong Campaign

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Master’s College women’s cross country team finished 14th of 32 teams in the NAIA Cross Country National Championship race on Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

The squad’s performance concluded the most successful year in program history.

The 7th-ranked Lady Mustangs tallied 366 points in the 5k race with a combined time of 1 hour 36 minutes 24.09 seconds.

Katrina Graham (Riverside, CA) led TMC by placing 39th overall at 18:40.45, while Hannah Kellerman (Sartell, MN) finished the race in 77th-place at 19:04.38.  Freshmen Rachael Ingoldsby (St. Johns, FL) finished in 19:10.80 at 92nd-place.

“We’re very blessed by the leadership on our squad,” commented head coach Zach Schroeder.  We are excited to see how the girls will grow over the coming years. I believe this team will be motived to work hard this winter and produce a strong 2014 track season.”

Now, the Lady Mustangs will take a few weeks off and then focus their efforts on the approaching 2014 track season.
