No Match for Marymount

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Lady Mustangs traveled to Loyola Marymount, where they fell to the Lions 88-58 in Saturday’s exhibition.
Forward Jacquelyn Marshall (San Clemente, CA) led the Mustangs with 14 points & eight rebounds, followed by Theresa Brown (Eugene, OR) and Millie Rivera (Allen, TX) with nine points apiece. Brown also added five rebounds.
As a team the Lady Mustangs had 32 total rebounds, 12 assists, eight steals, and four blocks. The Lady Mustangs fell short with only a 29.6% shooting average where the Lions had a shooting average of 43.2%.
The Lady Mustangs will hit the court again on November 8 at 4:00 PM in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they will face #5 Westminster at the Westminster Fall Classic.
