2012: Off-season work has earned him a starting job, moving from midfield to striker…with the move up front, he’s expected to put pressure on opposing goalies and produce points…parlaying outstanding speed and a hard shot should give him plenty of opportunities…tall, lean frame will make him a threat in the air game…possesses good touch and plays well under pressure…works on defense, too, taking on opponents and chasing them down.
2011: Started the first ten matches of his first collegiate campaign and was an integral part of the Mustangs’ 7-0 start…was a valuable reserve for much of the second half of the year and wound up playing in 19 games…his only point of the season came on an assist of Jonathan Taves’ game-tying goal vs. Westminster on 9/9/11 in a game that the Mustangs eventually won 2-1.
Oak Hills HS: Three-year performer for the Bulldogs and captained the squad for two years…a vital cog on two CIF Southern Section Division II finalist teams…led the Bulldogs in assists two times and was second on the team in goals…voted Mojave River League Defensive Player of the Year twice and was all-area, All-Daily Press, All-CIF, and All-San Bernardino County in his junior and senior years.
