2012:  The defense’s undisputed leader, he’s ready to take over at the center defender post where so many decorated players have excelled in the past…exceptional speed helps him excel as a one-on-one defender…enjoys mixing it up with opponents…very composed with the ball and possesses good touch…gets the ball up to the midfield…needs to stay healthy and play at a high level, producing on the field and providing leadership to younger teammates.

2011:  Showed terrific defensive skills in his first season as a starter on the back line…part of a veteran unit that allowed just over one goal per match during the campaign.

2010:  Redshirted

2009:  Tutored by a veteran crew of defenders he played in six games as a freshman.

Howell HS:  A four-year varsity performer for the Vikings, he twice earned all-conference honors as a defender.
