Bussell, Shahi Net All-GSAC Honors

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The men’s soccer team at The Master’s College garnered two spots on the 2012 Men’s Soccer All-GSAC Team with the choices of senior goalie Andrew Bussell (Bakersfield, CA) and sophomore midfielder Taylor Shahi (Santa Rosa, CA).
Playing his final collegiate season in the net, Bussell posted a 1.55 goals-against average while making 74 saves (second in the GSAC) and notching four shutouts, the third-best mark in the conference.
Meanwhile, Shahi produced a break-out sophomore campaign, scoring a team-high 20 points on nine goals and two assists. Two of those tallies came in dramatic, game-winning fashion against Westmont on October 16 and at Biola on October 27.
