Glendale CC:  Played two years for the Gauchos and was chosen to play in the Arizona Community College Athletic Association (ACCAC) All-Star game in 2010.

Thunderbird HS: A four-year starter on the Chiefs' last line of defense, he captained the squad in his final prep season (2009)…led the Chiefs to a trio of quarterfinal state tournament finishes and one semifinal appearance…named all-state in his final two seasons.
