2010: Second-year player with all of the tools to
develop into a big-time scorer…will be counted on to provide
offense as a starter or off the bench…has a knack for tallying
late-game goals…a natural finisher around the goal, he can beat the
goalie with a dazzling, quick release…shoots with both feet
accurately and places the ball well…receives and secures the ball
confidently.
2009: First-year player dazzled with big goals and
gave the Mustang offense another potent threat…tied for third with
six goals and was fourth in scoring with 14 points…five of his
goals were game-winners…his first collegiate goal was the lone
tally in an opening-day, 1-0 upset of No. 4 Mt. Vernon Nazarene
(OH)…beat 18th-ranked Concordia in dramatic fashion on 10/24/09
when his overtime score beat the Eagles…four days later vs.
Westmont, his goal with just over 11 minutes left to play proved to
be the difference in a 2-1 win…his fourth goal of the year, just
eight minutes into play, stood up in a 1-0 victory over Holy Names
in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round Match on
11/21/09…tallied the final two goals in a 3-1 win over Notre Dame
(OH) in a quarter-final match at the NAIA Men's Soccer National
Championship. |
