Lawson Leads Mustangs Through Fickle Weather
The NAIA Golf National Championships continue to be played in the midst of terrible Midwest weather that has already suspended play twice. Round 2 was finally completed this morning. The TMC golfer's posted a first round score of 295, led by sophomore John Lawson's 71. In round two the scores ballooned along with the weather. Lawson again led the way, this time with a low round of 76, and the Mustangs finished at 308. Their total score has them tied for 12th place currently, but the Mustangs hope to use the third round, played this afternoon, to rebound and get back into the championship hunt.
