2014: Tyler is the workhorse of our team, and sets the pace of every run.  He has every ounce of determination we could ever want our athletes to possess.  He is focused, healthy, and hungry for new PRs.  After a tremendous track season, we are looking forward to tyler capping off his final season with the mustangs as he looks to lead them once again to the top of the conference.  Tyler took a medical redshirt early in his college career, and now returns as a 5th year senior. This tireless worker will no doubt raise the level of excellence in his younger teammates.

2013: Coming off the biggest training summer in his life…had  TMC’s fastest marathon time last spring…top performer…cracked 100 miles this last summer in weekly training…knows how to run hard and run tough…very important for him that TMC claims fourth consecutive conference title.

2012: Injury plagued throughout his collegiate campaign…Tockstein will return as a junior and certainly has the potential to add depth to the team if he remains healthy.

2011: With the commitment and passion Tockstein possesses, fall 2011 promises to more fully display the potential of this young athlete.

2010: Tyler Tockstein put in a tremendous year of work during his freshman campaign.  However, Tyler's dedication to training was not entirely reflected in his first year of competition...Tockstein gained valuable experience and a foundation of work that will help him in the future...

High School: Ran PR's of 15:59 at Mt. Sac and 16:17 at Woodward Park, and has had appearances both at the CIF Finals and the State meet...part of a powerhouse running program at Canyon High School where he was a captain of the cross country team...helped his team to a 10th place finish in the state of California and 5th place in division 2...

Personal: Son of Don and Mary Tockstein...has one brother, Brian (16)...Plans to major in History and become a high school history teacher and cross country/track coach....Favorite movies are "Star Wars" and "Without Limits"...Favorite book is the Bible...Chose TMC "To learn, compete and grow in a Christ filled environment"...
