The Master's College

Men's Cross Country Ranks Eleventh

September 18, 2013

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Master’s College men’s cross country team ranks 11th in the nation, according to the first regular-season NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 poll.

This week’s ranking is a two spot drop from the Mustangs’ No. 9 preseason ranking.

Two other teams from the Golden State Athletic Conference join the Mustangs on this week’s poll: No. 18 Arizona Christian and No. 21 Westmont.

TMC is still the favorite, however, as the Conference/A.I.I./Unaffiliated Group Poll, which was released on September 17, ranked the Mustangs No. 1 in the GSAC.

The Mustangs have an opportunity to jump back in the NAIA’s Top 10 as they compete against a strong field of competitors this Saturday at their second annual home cross country meet, The Mustang Challenge.  Race time is 9:15 a.m. at Central Park.
