2014-15: After proving himself as a combo guard last year, he’s ready to settle in on the wing as a starter or off the bench as part of the regular rotation…will stretch defenses with an outstanding perimeter game and an improving dribble-drive game will make him a more complete player…a tough-minded athlete with a fiery, hard-nosed style of play, very conducive to the team’s defensive system…creates well, finding open teammates when defended on the perimeter…fully healthy after offseason shoulder surgery, he should be a real sparkplug at both ends of the court.
2013-14: Adjusting to a higher level of hoops quickly, he played in all of the club’s 31 games, making two starts and averaging over 20 minutes per outing…developed into a long-range threat, finishing third on the team with 41 three-pointers…poured in a season-high five treys for a season-best 15 points against Mt. Marty of South Dakota on 12/30/13…recorded 13 other games with at least two trifectas…tallied 10 points vs. West Coast Baptist in his collegiate debut on 11/7/13 and followed that with seven more double-digit showings…pulled down a season-best seven rebounds vs. Bethesda on 12/14/13 and handed out a season-best four assists twice.
Murrieta Valley HS: Played two years of varsity ball for the Nighthawks, playing both backcourt spots…was a spot starter as a junior and gained a regular job in his final prep season…played on teams that went a combined 49-6, won two Southwestern League championships, and advanced to a pair of CIF Southern Section Division 2A playoff semi-final appearances…as a senior, he gained first-team all-league, first-team All-Riverside Area and All-CIF honors after averaging 18ppg, 3.5apg, and four rebounds per game.
