2013-14: The junior with the textbook jumper is primed for a breakout campaign…pegged as a starter on the wing, he can really fill it up from the perimeter, turning into the club’s top three-point shooter…one of the finest shooters in the GSAC…more than that, he can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim…deadly in the mid-range game, too…possesses good length, translating into solid defense…should be a candidate for postseason honors.
2012-13: The sophomore transfer with the textbook jumper gave the club another lethal, outside threat, lighting it up off the bench and in 18 starts…scored in double figures 13 times, including seven with 20 or more points…tallied a season-high 31 points in a dazzling shooting display against Westmont on 1/22/13 when he went 11-14 from the field, including 4-5 from three-point territory, and 5-5 from the line…was second on the squad in three-pointers and three-point field goal percentage…had seven games with four treys or more…drained a season-best seven trifectas (7-10) in a 28-point outburst against Bethesda on 12/31/12…led the club in free throw percentage, converting a season-best 6-6 vs. Vanguard on 2/19/13.
Forney HS: Transferring in as a junior, he was a varsity starter in the backcourt for the Jackrabbits his final two prep campaigns…was a first-team All-District 10 choice following a senior season in which he averaged 19.2ppg and 5.9rpg…was ranked No. 2 at his position in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and No. 7 overall…selected to play in the Glendon Alexander Texas All-Star Game at the conclusion of his senior year.
