Men's Basketball Seventh In GSAC Poll

October 21, 2013

Santa Clarita, CA --  The GSAC portion of The Master's College men's 2013-14 basketball schedule doesn't commence for nearly three months but the conference coaches rolled out their preseason poll today, predicting the Mustangs to finish seventh in the eight-team conference.

Last year, the Mustangs finished sixth in the GSAC, going 5-9 in conference play and 16-14 overall.

Defending GSAC Tournament champion Concordia was selected to finish first, narrowly edging out Arizona Christian.  Following those squads were Vanguard, Biola, defending GSAC regular-season champion Westmont, Hope International, The Master's, and San Diego Christian.

The Mustangs open GSAC play on January 14 when they travel to Hope International.  Prior to that, they will have played 15 non-conference games, including the season-opener against West Coast Baptist on November 7 on Bross Court.
