2010-11: Skilled transfer from a major-college
program should make an impact with a fine, all-around game in the
post…should start from the opening tip…an exceptional passer, he
will find open teammates out of double-teams…works ball-screens
well…a big target in the post, he'll have plenty of opportunities
around the rim…a space-eater on the defensive end, he'll block and
alter a multitude of shots, and grab a lot of rebounds.
Pepperdine: Played two years for the NCAA Division I Waves…appeared
in 23 games as a freshman (2008-09) and was second on squad with 17
blocks…a year later, he played in only six games.
El Camino HS: Played two years of varsity ball for Justin Clymo and
the Eagles…was named All-Capital Athletic League as a senior after
averaging 11ppg, 9.5rpg, and five blocks…was a McDonald's
All-American nominee…helped the Eagles to a 26-6 record, the
Sac-Joaquin Section Division III championship and the NorCal
regional semifinals…was named MVP of the Fairfield Holiday Classic
Tournament…averaged 4.4ppg as a junior…the Eagles won or shared the
Capital League title both years. |
