2014:  After proving himself in spot starts last year, the senior righthander has earned a regular spot in the rotation for his final collegiate campaign…with that will come higher expectations which he’s prepared to meet with hard and nasty “out” pitches…a fastball, slider, curve, and change-up make up his repertoire…a better pitcher when he slows down and stays ahead of batters…last year’s success has made an enthusiastic player even more confident.

2013: Proving to be equally effective out of the bullpen or as a starter, the junior transfer’s performance gave the coaching staff confidence to use him in high-pressure situations…was second on the staff with 20 appearances, seven of those in a starting role, and posted the fourth-most wins and the best earned-run average…picked up his first win of the season in a two-inning relief stint against Ashford (IA) on 3/5/13, retiring all six batters he faced…improved to 2-1 on 3/23/13 when he tossed seven innings of six-hit, shutout ball vs. San Diego Christian…went a season-high eight innings vs. Cal State San Marcos on 4/20/13, allowing five hits to move to 3-1…hurled the Mustangs to the GSAC Tournament championship on 5/4/13, going 7.2 innings in an 8-3 victory over San Diego Christian…a week later, he clinched the club’s NAIA National Championship Opening Round triumph, grinding out six innings in a six-inning effort that featured six strikeouts.

CSU Dominguez Hills: Played two years for the Toros…as a freshman (2010) he made 19 appearances on the mound, including one start…wasn’t scored on in 12 of those outings…chalked up four wins and fashioned a 3.20 ERA…his first career win came in his first career appearance vs. Cal Poly Pomona on 2/4/10…went a season-high 3.1 innings vs. CSU San Bernardino on 3/20/10, striking out a career-best three batters….in 2011 he went to the hill 14 times, all out of the bullpen…he struck out 19 in 19.2 innings of work and recorded two saves.

Chatsworth HS: Enjoyed two stellar years as part of a four-year varsity stint under Coach Tom Meusborn…led the Chancellors to a West Valley League title as a junior when he fashioned a remarkable 0.78 earned-run average…named first-team All-West Valley League after that campaign…overall, he posted a 1.39 ERA and went 8-0 with three saves…was a key part of two consecutive CIF Los Angeles City Section championships…named first-team All-CIF Los Angeles City Section and repeated his all-league honors following his final prep season.
