SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Sam Robison (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) was the lone Mustang to represent The Master’s College on the 2013 Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series All-Tournament Team.

In 2013, Robison played in all 61 games, hitting 278, collecting 57 hits, and scored 30 runs.  In the field, the sophomore second basemen set a single season record with 190 assists and participated in a team-high 49 double plays.

Robison’s accolades come on the heels of the Mustangs’ most successful season in program history where they concluded their regular-season schedule with a first-place finish in the Golden State Athletic Conference, and a No. 7 ranking in the NAIA.  A 44-17 record included a GSAC Tournament championship and an NAIA World Series Opening Round tournament championship qualified the Mustangs for their first NAIA World Series appearance in 13 years.  TMC concluded its best season in program history in an elimination game against tournament host Lewis-Clark State where it fell 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning.
