SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Master’s College Sports Information Department has released the 2014 baseball schedule.

TMC will host 28 home games and play 23 on the road, including three in Phoenix, Arizona, against fellow GSAC member Arizona Christian.

Entering the season as the 12th-ranked team in the country, the Mustangs will play a slate highlighted by showdowns against three NAIA Top 25 powers: No. 9 Concordia, No. 16 CSU San Marcos, and No. 22 San Diego Christian.

In 2013, the Mustangs put together the finest season in program history, highlighted by the most wins in team annals (44-17), the highest Top 25 ranking ever (No. 5), the rare double of winning both the GSAC regular-season and tournament championships, qualifying for the NAIA World Series for the second time in school history, and raking in countless postseason honors.

Eighteenth-year head coach Monte Brooks and his Mustangs will look to duplicate last year’s success starting with a road series against Simpson in Redding this weekend.
