SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – The Golden State Athletic Conference has named Mustang outfielder Steven Karkenny (Chatsworth, CA) as Baseball Player of the Week.

During a week in which the Mustangs went 4-0, Karkenny hit .353 (6-17) and drove in 12 runs, highlighted by a two-home run, six-rbi performance against Westmont. The sophomore outfielder also scored four runs, laced a pair of doubles, and stole a base.  TMC (21-7 overall) is currently in sole possession of first place in the GSAC (14-4), two games ahead of Concordia.

The Mustangs look to continue their conference dominance as they travel to Biola this weekend to engage in a three-game series starting Friday at 12:00 PM.
