2013: Successful outings last year have given him great confidence as the staff’s primary closer…bulldog tough and fearless, he always wants the ball in late-game situations…has fine command over three pitches, including a slider that produces a lot of ground balls…goes to off-speed pitches to get outs…fields his position well and holds runners at bay.

2012: Fulfilled pre-season expectations with a stellar season, developing into a first-rate closer…led the club with 23 appearances, all out of the bullpen, and four saves…allowed earned runs in only six of those outings…tossed a season-high four innings of scoreless ball vs. San Diego Christian on 3/8/12 and picked up the win in the process…struck out a season-best four batters in three innings of scoreless relief vs. Menlo on 2/18/12…did not allow a run in each game in which he recorded a save.

2011: First-year hurler appeared in 18 games, 17 of those out of the bullpen…picked up two victories in relief…his one win as a starter came on 2/17/11 vs. La Sierra when he struck out four and gave up no earned runs over five innings…picked up his first win out of the pen vs. Westmont on 4/2/11 when he pitched four innings of one-run ball.

Saugus HS: A two-year performer for the Centurions and Coach John Maggiora…won six games as a junior and was named All-Foothill League honorable mention…went 5-3 in his final prep season with a league-best 1.95 earned run average...named Foothill League Pitcher of the Year and first-team all-league.
