2013: Scratching the surface of his vast potential last year, the second-year player is prepared to display his entire repertoire this season...will start in left field again where a strong arm and excellent positioning should make him one of the best at his position in the GSAC…will hit second in the order, featuring a bat with power that finds the gaps and fences easily…can also move runners along in a variety of ways…possesses baseball smarts beyond his years.

2012: Highly-touted first-year player did not disappoint during his first collegiate season despite going through the typical ups and downs…started all of the club’s 55 games, the majority of them in left field…led the club in hit-by-pitches (8) and tied for the team lead with four sacrifice flies…finished second on the team in runs scored, doubles, home runs, and rbi…had two or more hits in 17 games, including a trio of three-hit outings…drove in two or more runs 12 times…went 2-4, clubbed a home run, and drove in three runs vs. San Diego Christian on 3/10/12…led the Mustangs to a 9-8 victory in a first-round GSAC Tournament game vs. Biola on 5/1/12, going 3-5 with a homer and driving in three runs.

Chatsworth HS: Three-year varsity player was a highly-decorated performer on one of the most successful teams in Southern California…as a sophomore, he saw limited playing time on a senior-laden squad that won the CIF Los Angeles City Section championship…hit .300 and had a .440 on-base percentage…a year later, he was instrumental in leading the Chancellors to the semi-finals of the city section playoffs…earning a starting job, he shined as the club’s leadoff hitter, pacing the Chancellors in batting average (.425), runs scored, walks, and on-base percentage (.564)…in addition, he sparkled on the mound, making 15 appearances as the club’s closer, going 5-1 with three saves while striking out 45 in 43 innings of work and posting a 1.63 earned-run average…named Chatsworth HS MVP and the West Valley League co-MVP…was a first-team All-CIF City Section selection, first-team All-Area by the Daily News, and second-team All-State by MaxPreps…capped an outstanding prep career in 2011 when he led the Chancellors back to the City Section championship game at Dodger Stadium where he went 4-4 with two rbi and a pair of stolen bases in a heartbreaking, 8-6 loss to San Fernando HS…hit .353 to go along with a .533 on-base percentage and a .565 slugging mark…clubbed a team-high three home runs, scored 37 runs, and drove in 28 more while walking 28 times…on the hill, he was 3-0…repeated West Valley League, All-CIF, and Daily News All-Area honors, and was a third-team all-state choice by Cal-Hi Sports…producing in the classroom, too, he was named to Chatsworth’s Principal’s High Honor List each semester, chosen as a Class of 2011 valedictorian, and earned a 2011 CIF/Farmer’s Los Angeles City Section Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.
