2013: The incumbent at first base returns for his final collegiate campaign as a proven performer at the plate and in the field…one of the finest-fielding first basemen in the history of the program presents a great target, has fine range, and really knows how to dig out low throws…at the plate, he produces quality at-bats with a “tough out” mentality…will have the opportunity to drive in a lot of runs in the middle of the order…hits to all fields…a hard-nosed competitor with an unselfish attitude.

2012: Nailed down the first base job out of fall ball and put together a nice season, especially in the field where he set a new single-season standard with 504 putouts…made only one error in 522 chances…notched 10 or more putouts in a game 27 times…played a part in 39 double plays…at the plate, he tied for the team lead in triples and sacrifice flies…had nine games with two or more hits, including a trio of three-hit outings…went 3-5 with two doubles and two rbi vs. Menlo on 2/17/12…was 3-3 with two rbi and two runs scored vs. La Sierra on 4/27/12.

2011: Following a slow start, the sophomore transfer started to produce in a big way and became a regular by mid-season…made 28 starts, including the final 21 games of the year, splitting time between right field and first base…paced the club in batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage…his .354 batting average was fifth-best in the GSAC…had nine multi-hit games, highlighted by a trio of three-hit performances…rapped out three hits vs. Concordia on 3/19/11 and duplicated that against Pt. Loma Nazarene on 4/9/11 and Azusa Pacific five days later…during a 13-game stretch in April he went 22-47 (.468)…drove in two or more runs five times…had a season-high three rbi vs. San Diego Christian on 4/18/11…was hit by pitches eight times, the second-highest total on the club…notched a season-best 13 putouts vs. California Baptist on 3/26/11.

Pacific Lutheran: Played one year for the Lutes, hitting .303 in 18 games…drove in nine runs.

Kelso HS: A three-year varsity starter for the Hilanders, he put up big numbers at the plate and developed into an outstanding shortstop…was a second-team 3A All-Greater St. Helens League choice as a sophomore after hitting .380…a year later, he moved over to shortstop and was even more productive on a team that went 25-2, won a league championship, and finished as the state runner-up…hit .459 with 29 rbi while setting a single-season, school record with 45 hits…garnered all-league, all-area (The Daily News), and all-state honors…he repeated those accolades as a senior after hitting .400 and committing no errors on a team that won a second straight league title.
