2013: The team’s primary designated hitter should continue to operate at a high level, driving in runs from the middle of the order…very talented and strong, he can hit for average and improved power will make him even more lethal… disciplined at the plate, he gets on base in a variety of ways…has shown fine improvement in hitting to all fields, making him even more of a threat...will pick up the glove some times and head to right field.

2012: The club’s designated hitter produced well in the middle of the order, improving in nearly every offensive category…finished third on the club in batting average and hits…raised his batting average 68 points from his freshman year and his OPS improved 116 points…had 13 multi-hit outings, including a pair of three-hit performances…hit safely in 20 of 21 games from early February through mid-March…went 3-4 with three rbi vs. Claremont on 2/8/12…drove in two or more runs six times…walked a career-high three times vs. Azusa Pacific on 3/16/12.

2011: Impressive first-year player started off hot, tailed off, and then settled in for an average freshman campaign…hit in eight of his first nine games, going 12-30 with four two-hit outings…finished the year with 10 multi-hit performances…his best day at the plate may have come on 2/4/11 when he went 2-4, slugged a pair of home runs, drove in two runs, and scored three times…made 43 starts, mainly in right field.

Centennial HS: Put up big numbers and was a major contributor as a two-year varsity starter for the Golden Hawks and Coach Randy Roberts…in his junior year, he earned second-team all-state underclassman honors after hitting .452 with seven home runs and 35 rbi…a year later, he led the 25-6 Hawks to the Southwest Yosemite League League (SWYL) crown, hitting .438 with 10 homers and 38 rbi…hit a home run in his final high school at-bat in the CIF Central Section semi-final game…named to the Kern County All-Area team by the Bakersfield Californian.
