2013: Hoping to pick up where he left off at the conclusion of the 2012 campaign, he’s one of the club’s most dynamic forces at the plate…will bat third or clean-up where he should drive in a lot of runs…uses a sound swing to punish the ball…can hit the ball everywhere and out to all fields…always locked in and very decisive…will be the starter behind the plate where his rapport with the pitching staff will determine its success…possesses a live arm and quick feet.

2012: Bouncing back from a very average sophomore year, the starting rightfielder put up numbers comparable to his outstanding first collegiate season…paced the club in batting average, doubles, home runs, rbi and total bases…had a career-best 20 multi-hit games, highlighted by a career-high-tying four hits vs. Claremont on 2/8/12…in addition, he drove in three runs against the Stags and scored a career-high four runs in his most prolific game of the season…produced a quartet of three-hit outings…went 3-5 with two doubles and two rbi vs. Azusa Pacific on 3/16/12…drove in a career-best five runs against Vanguard on 4/12/12, one of 11multi-rbi games…posted a trio of three-rbi performances.

2011: Met the challenge of a sophomore slump with a consistent campaign at the plate and in the field…paced the team with 32 rbi and eight sacrifice flies and was third in hits and total bases…produced 16 games with two or more hits, including a trio with three hits…went 3-6 and drove in two runs vs. Arizona Christian on 2/4/11…had three hits vs. Pt. Loma Nazarene on 4/9/11 and Biola on 4/27/11…drove in two or more runs 10 times…four rbi vs.  Azusa Pacific on  4/16/11 matched a career-best…hit a pair of sacrifice flies vs. British Columbia on 2/16/11 and Westmont on 3/30/11.

2010: On his way to a prolific campaign, the catcher’s freshman campaign was interrupted by a scary head injury caused by a backswing that slammed into his facemask vs. San Diego Christian on 3/1/10…to that point he was hitting .432, highlighted by a season-opening, 12-game hitting streak, with 14 rbi…he returned just over a month later and picked up where he left off, hitting .385 the rest of the way en route to the 11th .400 season in program history…had 16 multi-hit games, including a four-hit outing vs. Patten on 1/30/10, and a quartet of three-hit performances…drove in a season-best four runs vs. Patten on Opening Day (1/29/10) and again two weeks later vs. Berry when he also smacked a pair of home runs.

Simi Valley HS: Was on the varsity for three years but played only two due to a torn labrum that kept him sidelined in 2008…played for Pioneer teams that made the playoffs each year, won back-to-back Marmonte League titles in 2008 and 2009, and captured a CIF Southern Section Division I championship in 2008…in his first varsity campaign (2007) he hit .415, had a slugging percentage of .610 and an on-base percentage of .455…earned All-Marmonte League honors…duplicated that feat in his senior year after hitting .380 and posting a .660 slugging percentage and a .434 on-base percentage…named All-Ventura County and All-CIF…played in both the Jim Parker and Bernie Milligan All-Star games.
