2013: Junior transfer will play an important role on the staff, whether as a spot starter or in high-pressure, relief situations…possesses hard and nasty “out” pitches…a fastball, slider, curve, and change-up make up his repertoire…a better pitcher when he stays ahead of batters…past successes on both the collegiate and prep levels have made him very confident.

CSU Dominguez Hills: Played two years for the Toros…as a freshman (2010) he made 19 appearances on the mound, including one start…wasn’t scored on in 12 of those outings…chalked up four wins and fashioned a 3.20 ERA…his first career win came in his first career appearance vs. Cal Poly Pomona on 2/4/10…went a season-high 3.1 innings vs. CSU San Bernardino on 3/20/10, striking out a career-best three batters….in 2011 he went to the hill 14 times, all out of the bullpen…he struck out 19 in 19.2 innings of work and recorded two saves.

Chatsworth HS: Enjoyed two stellar years as part of a four-year varsity stint under Coach Tom Meusborn…led the Chancellors to a West Valley League title as a junior when he fashioned a remarkable 0.78 earned-run average…named first-team All-West Valley League after that campaign…overall, he posted a 1.39 ERA and went 8-0 with three saves…was a key part of two consecutive CIF Los Angeles City Section championships…named first-team All-CIF Los Angeles City Section and repeated his all-league honors following his final prep season.
