|2011: Expected to be one of the club's major run-producers in
his final year of college ball…will start the season at first base
but will DH, as well…should bat in the five hole with plenty of
chances to drive in runs…very confident at the plate, he is looking
to hit the ball to all fields and improve on-base percentage…plate
discipline is a real key to his success…has really worked on his
footwork around the first base bag…picks the ball very well.
2010: Picked up where he left off from the previous season and became one of the club's top hitters and run-producers…started every game, either at first base or designated hitter…led the club in at-bats, sacrifice flies, and putouts…posted 18, multi-hit games, including six outings with three hits…had nine hits in a four-game series against Westmont, April 7-10…recorded eight more hits in a series vs. Azusa Pacific, April 21-24…finished second on the team with 38 rbi, highlighted by driving in a career-high six runs in the first game of a doubleheader vs. Concordia on 3/20/10…drove in two runs or more nine times…had five rbi vs. Biola on 5/1/10…participated in a club-high 25 double plays.
2009: Hitting the ball with consistency and driving in runs in bushels, he developed into one of the club's most productive batters over the final third of the season and became the regular first baseman…started the last 19 games of the season and had 10 of his 12 multi-hit games in that stretch…had a career-high four hits (including three doubles) and equaled a career-best with four rbi vs. Azusa Pacific on 3/25/09 and then duplicated that two weeks later against Vanguard… hit a home run, went 2-5, and drove in three runs to help eliminate Biola in the GSAC Tournament on 5/6/09…had two hits apiece vs. Malone (OH) and Taylor (IN) in the National Tournament Opening Round…made only two errors in 255 chances and was part of 22 double plays.
2008: Made the most of his minimal playing time, producing seven rbi with his twelve hits…earned six starts at designated hitter over the campaign's final month…came off the bench against La Sierra on 3/28/08 and went 3-3 with a game-high four rbi…recorded a season-high five putouts at first base vs. Illinois Tech on 3/20/08.
Franklin HS: A two-year prep performer for Coach Mike Cody, he was part of a pair of Wildcat playoff squads, including Delta Valley League champions in his senior year…hit .393 as junior and was named second-team all-league…he was a first-team choice a year later when he hit .378 and was All-Sacramento honorable mention.
