|2011: After three years as a major contributor to the staff's
success, he starts his final collegiate year as the club's ace and
one of the GSAC's top hurlers…throws all of the pitches and has
very good movement on all of them…if his track record holds up, he
will eat up a lot innings…exemplifies outstanding leadership and
will be a mentor to many of the club's up and coming pitchers…gives
the club a chance to win every time he takes the mound.
2010: Cemented his status as one of the elite pitchers in the GSAC, equaling a career high with seven wins while leading the club in innings pitched…his 18 career wins put him at No. 9 on the all-time list…chewed up a lot of innings, going at least five in each of his 13 starts…went nine innings three times, including a pair of complete games…struck out a career-high 10 batters on three occasions, one of those in a complete-game victory over Concordia on 3/20/10…whiffed 10 and gave up three runs en route to his sixth win of the season, a 7-3 defeat of Biola on 4/28/10…went six gutsy innings and claimed his seventh victory as the Mustangs beat Concordia in a second-round game of the GSAC Tournament on 5/11/10.
2009: Enduring the ups and downs of a sophomore season, the righthander proved to be one of the top number three hurlers in the GSAC…was second on the club in wins (7) and starts (15)…won his first four decisions of the season, highlighted by a 6-0 blanking of Northwood of Florida on 1/31/09 when he gave up just five hits and struck out six…improved to 6-1 on 3/19/09 when he shut out Fresno Pacific through seven innings of a 7-3 Mustang win…earned his seventh and final win of the year against California Baptist on 4/18/09, striking out four and walking no one in eight innings of work.
2008: Enjoyed outstanding success in a variety of mound situations…won all four of his decisions, including three starts and one out of the pen…struck out 20 and walked just three in 29 innings, limiting opponents to a paltry .168 average…struck out five and allowed just three hits in five shutout innings in his starting debut vs. Illinois Tech on 3/20/08…a little over a week later, he was even better against La Sierra, tossing five innings of one-hit, scoreless ball vs. the Eagles to pick up his second win…notched his fourth win of the campaign in his final start on 4/23/08, handcuffing Occidental on two hits over five innings.
Clovis HS: A two-year starter on the mound for Coach James Patrick and the Cougars…in his senior year, he led the Cougars to a co-championship of the Tri-Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) with a 7-4 record, a 3.35 ERA, and 42 strikeouts…was voted the team's most improved player and earned the Tim Simons Sportsmanship and Character Award…took the Outstanding Pitcher Award in the 2007 Coca Cola/Rally's Baseball Tournament and pitched in the City/County All-Star Game.
