2009-10: A promising walk-on with a bright future because he can stick the open jumper…could be used in certain situations when the three-ball is needed…competes very well and plays hard-nosed defense…his biggest challenge will be adjusting to a higher-level game.
Valley Christian HS: A three-year, backcourt starter for Coach Bryan Branderhorst, he was a major contributor and All-CIF choice on three very successful Crusader postseason squads…in 2006-07, the sophomore earned All-Alpha League and All-CIF Southern Section Division IV honors, averaging nearly 11 points and five rebounds per game on a team that made it to the division quarterfinals…a year later, he repeated those personal honors after averaging 11.5ppg and 5.9rpg but was more satisfied with the team’s Alpha League title (27-4 overall, 8-0 league) and the CIF Southern Section Division IV championship…reaching the state playoffs, the Crusaders lost in the Southern California Region IV quarterfinals…capping his prep career in 2008-09, the senior put together a strong campaign, averaging 15.4ppg, 6.1rpg, and 4.3apg…for the third straight year, the Crusaders won their way to the division quarterfinals…named All-Olympic League and was an All-CIF selection for the third consecutive year. |
