My experience with DEEP has been thoroughly positive. The classes cover very interesting material; even my eight-year old brother watches my lectures with me! So far I've taken two classes with Dr. Varner, and he's very interesting and funny. I feel like I know a lot about him even without having met him.

I have been so blessed in the New Testament Survey course. Dr. Halstead's passion translates into lectures that are both comprehensive and well delivered. I have learned so much both through the lectures and also the John outline. I'll share a couple of the several insights Dr. Halstead shared that I found helpful and encouraging: 1) The difference between temptation and testing; temptation being the result of the wrong response to testing. 2) As one moves closer to the light we see ourselves as more sinful and that can cause us to think we are moving backward rather than forward.

Any concerns or problems I have had on the technological aspect of the on-line classes have been handled promptly and with the utmost courtesy.

I thank God for Masters College and their Bible professors and staff. They are so caring that you are served and that you know Christ in scripture. They teach Christ.

The most profound lesson for me was the 'real' Lords Prayer in John 17. Dr H taught it, and of all the lessons, this one has really impacted me in praying for believers and the lost. I feel that I have been put on a 'praying path' at a time when I most needed it.

I would just like to say that Dr. Varner's great familiarity with the Jewish culture has helped me to cross over the great gap of time and begin to understand the world in which the Old Testament was set. He has made my learning experience very enjoyable!
