Each course (typically 3 semester units) will consist of approximately 8 to 12 modules, each equivalent to one week of traditional undergraduate college instruction. Each module will include the following components:
Two to four streaming lectures ranging from 45 minutes to 1 ½ hours in length,
An average of no more than 5 total hours lecture video each week.
A pre-lecture reading assignment from the course text and/or handout materials.
A handout/note-taking guide to accompany the lectures.
A written assignment to be submitted electronically.
An online threaded discussion assignment requiring the student’s participation.
In addition, each course will typically include:
A number of examinations, depending on the course.
A course project/paper to be submitted electronically.
