Students must go through the admissions process. Those planning to take the courses for credit must meet similar admissions requirements as our traditional undergraduate program. Admission to the DEEP program does NOT guarantee future admission to the college’s traditional undergraduate program.
Any individual seeking admission to The Master’s College Distance Education Extension Program (TMC DEEP) must meet the following minimum requirements:
The applicant must be in general agreement with the doctrinal position of the College. The TMC Doctrinal Statement can be viewed by clicking here.
The applicant must regularly attend a local evangelical church and provide a pastoral reference from one of the pastors or church leaders. For-credit students must have a church leader or staff person present to administer DEEP course examinations.
The applicant must be able to give a clear testimony of the basis of his/her salvation and hope of eternal life.
For-credit students must be enrolled in the equivalent of eleventh grade in high school and demonstrate adequate academic capability to be successful in college-level courses.
ENROLLMENT OPTIONS
Admitted students may enroll in DEEP classes on either an audit or for-credit basis.
For-credit courses will provide the student with WASC accredited transferrable college units; the student’s assignments and exams will be graded, and each course they take will appear on a transcript from The Master’s College.
Those who audit courses will have access to all the same materials as for-credit students and are encouraged to participate, but they will not take exams or submit homework to be graded.
