On Friday night, July 8th, the family of Matthew Rehrer was killed in a tragic head-on collision near Houston, Texas. Bill, 50, his wife Pamela, 50, and their daughters Bethany, 22, and Amy, 20 all died after a tractor-trailer collided with their Saturn on Interstate 45. Bethany was attending TMC, had been a member of the travelling music group, Majesty, for two years, and was going to be an RA (Resident Assistant) in one of our dorms the following year. Amy was going to come to The Master's College in the fall, as well. Matt and Kara, both graduates from TMC in 2004, are doing well and ask for continued prayer. They are being cared for and supported by Believer's Fellowship in San Antonio (Matt's home church), by Bethel Church in Houston (Matt and Kara's local church)and by other family and friends. We all pray and seek God's greater glory through Matt and Kara's suffering. Bethany had recently returned from a powerful ministry overseas with Majesty in Spain. When the missionaries and pastors heard the news there was an outpouring of sorrow and appreciation for what Bethany had meant to them during her time in Spain. Pastor Iñaki of the Baptist church in Madrid preached a memorial sermon for Bethany this past Sunday.

Both of these building projects were passions of Mr. Rehrer as he was involved at Believer’s Fellowship and Academy for 22 years and was presently the administrator at San Jacinto Christian Academy.
