30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.

You may enter a number of fields, ranging from the ministry to teaching to business. Our Department of Career Services exists to help you find the right career for you. See questions 21 and 21 (below) for some examples.

9) Is chapel required?
Yes, chapel is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:10 - 10:25 am. Each student is allowed six missed chapels per semester.

10) Will my credits transfer from _____________?
Transcripts will be evaluated by the Registrar. The student must have at least a C grade (not a C-) or better in a college level class for it to transfer to TMC.

11) What is the average class size at TMC?
Class sizes range from 30-40 students in lower division classes down to 8-15 students in upper division courses. However, some Bible classes will have close to 100 students. Over four years, the average class size is 20-25 students.

12) What kind of financial aid is offered at TMC?
Federal, state, and institutional monies are available to students who qualify. These include grants, loans, need-based and merit-based scholarships, and work-study programs. APPLY EARLY!!

Yes.

16) Are there any restrictions on having a car at TMC?
No. All students, including freshmen, can have a car on campus.

Yes, 24-hour, campus-wide security is provided.

18) What kind of rules does TMC have?

19) Can I live off campus?
Off campus housing is restricted to married students, part-time students, students over the age of 21, or students who live at home (aka, commuter students). For further explanation, please consult the Student Handbook (pdf).

20) Will my Bible courses transfer if I decide to transfer after my first year(s) at TMC?
Usually, about half of the Bible courses will transfer to other 4-year colleges and universities as literature, history, philosophy, and religious elective studies.

21) What companies have hired TMC students?
NBA, WNBA, Sheriff's Dept., Southern California Gas Co., Walt Disney Studios, LAPD, Sheraton Hotels, Farmer's Insurance Group, IBM, HR Textron, Kaiser Permanente, Honeywell, Boeing, Lockheed, Helen Grace Chocolates, Price Waterhouse, UPS, Dept. of Water/Power, H&R Block, Capin Crouse and many others.

22) Do many TMC graduates attend Graduate school?
Yes, some include: Pepperdine, UCLA, NYU, Georgetown, Duke, Oxford and USC.
Medical and dental schools include Indiana University, University of Nebraska, Texas A&M University, University of California at San Francisco and Loma Linda University.
Seminaries represented include Western Conservative Baptist, Talbot School of Theology, Southern Baptist, Northwest Baptist Seminary, Dallas Theological, The Master's Seminary, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

23) What are TMC's admission requirements?

Admission Deadlines:
EARLY ACTION APPLICANTS:
Application and all required documentation must be postmarked by November 15. Students will be notified of their admission status beginning December 22.

REGULAR ADMISSION DEADLINE:
Application and all required documentation must be postmarked by March 2 and application for Financial Aid must also be submitted by this date if assistance is desired. Students will be notified of their admission status no later than April 1. The Candidates Reply Date is May 1. Admitted students responding on or before this date are guaranteed a place in the incoming class.

24) Does TMC prefer the SAT or ACT?
Either exam is satisfactory, but TMC accepts the SAT I, not the SAT II for admission.

Several strong, Bible-believing churches are located in the Santa Clarita Valley. These include Grace Baptist Church (Baptist General Conference), Placerita Baptist Church (General Association of Regular Baptist Churchs), Grace Community Church (non-denominational), Santa Clarita Baptist Church (General Association of Regular Baptist Churches), Faith Community Church (Evangelical Free), and Church of the Canyons (Evangelical Free).
